Here is a little background behind Not Defeated. Some may know and other’s don’t. I feel like my life has been a struggle in areas with myself, family,friends and relationships. My grandparents helped raise me from an early age. I struggled with that,not understanding why. I had my 2children in my early 20’s. My daughter losing her father (my boyfriend)when she was only 2 years old. Fast forward got married and 2 more beautiful children. I went off to college got accepted into nursing school. Everything was going good I thought. First year in nursing school I lost my grandfather who was also the man to help raise me. I didn’t think I was going to make it. I dropped out of nursing school and my husband told me to go back the next semester and I did only for me not to graduate. So we decided I would give it another shot. I went back to nursing school in 2020. It was hard being a wife, mom, student and so on. I get to my last last semester of nursing school and my husband of 6years passed away. I felt like giving up but I knew he would want me to continue so I did. I graduated nursing. I said all of that to say I have had some bumps in the road not just a little but a lot. I felt like giving up but I kept going by God’s Grace and Mercy. I’m/ we are still standing and I’m Not Defeated by the obstacles that has happened in my life. This is what Not Defeated mean to me.
